REFORMA Northeast Elections 2023-2024

Call for Nominations 

The Nominations Committee is soliciting nominations for the following positions within the
Northeast Chapter of
REFORMA for the term 2023-2024

Vice President/President-Elect
Treasurer

 

Vice-President/President-Elected: In the absence or disability of the President, the Vice-President/President-Elect shall perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Chapter President. The Vice-President/President-Elect shall also assist the President and perform such other duties and have such other powers as are prescribed in the By-Laws and that may be prescribed by the Executive Board. Shall serve as Chair of the Membership Committee. Shall inform the Chapter’s President, Secretary, and Electronic List Moderator(s) of any new members.

Treasurer:
Shall perform all duties customary to that office, i.e. the custody of and responsibility for all RNE funds. Shall keep accurate accounts of the Chapter’s receipts and disbursements. Shall deposit or cause to be deposited all monies or other valuable effects in the name of the Chapter in such depositories as shall be selected by the Executive Board. Shall provide an oral and/or written report at each Executive Board and Membership meeting. Shall liaise with REFORMA National and other RNE Officers to ensure the receipt of membership dues collected by REFORMA National. Shall serve as Chair of the RNE Chapter Funding Review Committee.
 
Running for Office
You can nominate yourself or another individual. To be eligible to vote as well as to hold office individuals must be members in good standing as of March 21, 2023  If you need to renew your membership, please click here.

Timeline of Election Process  
April 10 - May 10 | Solicit nominations from chapter membership
May 11 - 18 | Nomination committee confirms acceptance of nominations
May 19 - 29 | Committee requests a statement of purpose from those nominated
May 30 - June 14 | Nomination slate announced; elections begin; chapter members vote

June 16 | Election results are announced

During April 10-May 10, email your nomination with the
Subject Heading 2023 RNE Chapter Election to:
